The “Crisis Response Plan for Healthcare Providers: Introduction and Assessment” course is designed specifically for those in the healthcare field. This is an introduction course for the Crisis Response Plan method of suicide prevention. Dr. Craig Bryan, clinical psychologist and Air Force Veteran, takes the learner through an assessment method for evaluating and assisting patients that might be at risk for suicide. The emphasis is in exploring the patient’s narrative and working closely with them to create a personalized aid to reduce suicide ideation. The goal of the course is to focus on the story of the individual patient and help them identify ways to help themselves, this course adds a useful tool to a provider’s toolkit.
